Integrate HubSpot with Sona Identification

Sona Identification and Your CRM Data

By integrating HubSpot with Sona, you can choose to push the Sona data we have about each connected company, contact, or deal directly into your CRM. This setup is designed to allow you to more easily leverage the rich information related to your prospects, and to bring that enhanced data to where your go-to-market teams are spending time.

You have complete control over your Sona and HubSpot integration setup, and you can select to automatically or manually synchronize data. You can directly transfer company details, deals, and activity from Sona into your CRM.

Additionally, the integration enriches your CRM data by sending website visit information and intent signals from Sona to HubSpot, offering valuable insights for your sales team. With additional data and insights, your sales team should be able to better prioritize their efforts and leverage additional data insights to close more deals.

Please note: You will need to be a HubSpot Admin (or at least have write, read, update, append, and append to) privileges for the account you want to connect to Dealfront. Your user rights should not be limited by any field level or record security, or by any validation rule in your HubSpot.

STEP 1: Login to Sona, navigate to Connectors on the left sidebar, and select New Connector

STEP 2: You will see all connectors available to you. Type-in HubSpot in the All Connectors search bar, and click the Connect button.

STEP 3: If you are not signed in to Hubspot, you will be taken to a screen where you can sign in. You should sign in with an admin’s Hubspot credentials

STEP 4: Next, you’ll be able to configure how data synchronizes between Sona and Hubspot. You can access the configuration by going to Connectors >> Hubspot. You can configure how Companies, Contacts, and Deals get synchronized from Sona to Hubspot.

You can configure synchronization at several different levels:

  1. Company Creation: If a company is identified, you can automatically have a new company created in Hubspot. You can select whether companies are auto-created or you can manually create companies from the Accounts List and Account Profile views. If you auto-create companies, you can additionally configure the following:
  2. Owner: This is the person in Hubspot that you want to own the account.
  3. Hubspot fields: If Sona has more recent data, you can specify as to whether that data overwrites an existing Hubspot field.
  4. Custom fields: You can map additional custom fields from Sona to Hubspot.
  5. Contact Creation: If a new contact is identified, you can automatically have a new contact created in Hubspot.
  6. Owner: This is the person in Hubspot that you want to own the contact.
  7. Hubspot fields: If Sona has more recent data, you can specify as to whether that data overwrites an existing Hubspot field.
  8. Custom fields: You can map additional custom fields from Sona to Hubspot.
  9. Deal Creation: Based on intent signals, you’re able to have a new deal created in Hubspot.
  10. Owner: This is the person in Hubspot that you want to own the deal.
  11. Hubspot fields: If Sona has more recent data, you can specify as to whether that data overwrites an existing Hubspot field.
  12. Custom fields: You can map additional custom fields from Sona to Hubspot.

Step 6: After completing these steps your account will start to sync. For your initial sync, the amount of time that it will take will be dependent upon how much data has accumulated in Sona, and could take several hours. The larger the account, the longer it will take.
